Invisalign First

Invisalign First clear aligner treatment is designed for predictable results and a positive experience while addressing the unique needs of growing children.

  • Designed to treat a broad range of teeth straightening issues in growing children, from simple to complex, including crowding, spacing, and narrow dental arches.
  • Removable for easy hygiene, making it easier for growing children to brush and floss.
  • Designed for comfort — which means no discomfort from rubbing brackets or poking wires.

Invisalign Teen

Invisalign Teen uses the same proprietary technology as regular Invisalign with a few added features for our teen patients. The teen version of Invisalign includes a compliance indicator to allow parents and the orthodontist to determine if the teen is wearing the appliance for the required number of hours. Teens may prefer Invisalign over other treatment methods due to its flexibility to integrate into everyday life.

Invisalign Adult

Invisalign is a system of clear aligners that are used to straighten a patient’s smile without the need for wires or brackets. The clear aligners are removable and allow the patient to receive treatment with the comfort of removing the appliance for eating, drinking, and brushing teeth. Some patients may find this type of treatment convenient and more comfortable than braces due to the custom fit for each patient. Dr. Nizam is a Top 1% Diamond Invisalign provider which means she has done more than 1000 invisalign cases and has mastery over Invisalign.

Why Invisalign?

Invisalign aligners are manufactured to fit each patient, they are virtually invisible, and can be removed for eating your favorite snacks. Treatment with Invisalign is convenient, flexible, and discreet. At Impressions Ortho, we can help determine if Invisalign is right for you.

At Impressions Ortho, we use technology to help create the smile you want, this includes our digital impression system which replaces messy impressions. Using a digital scanner, we will take three-dimensional (3-D) digital images, or impressions, of your teeth and bite. These impressions are then used at a lab where they will custom-fabricate a model of your teeth. This model will help us create a customized treatment plan for you.

The vPro is an at-home device that encourages teeth to move faster by delivering high-frequency vibrations. Dr. Nizam recommends using the vPro for at least five minutes per day to increase the chances of seeing the expected accelerated results. Ask us if vPro is right for you at your next appointment!

Surgical Orthodontics

Surgical orthodontics or orthognathic surgery corrects jaw irregularities to improve the patient's ability to chew, speak, breathe and facial esthetics. In other words, surgical orthodontics straightens your jaw. Braces or clear aligners are typically used pre and post-surgery to allow the surgeon to optimize your facial esthetics.

Retainers & Relapse

Relapse refers to the movement of teeth back to their original positions after your braces/invisalign has been removed. Ideally, your teeth should remain stable after the retention period; however, there are many factors that are not in our control. Once your treatment is complete, Dr. Nizam will prescribe a retainer. A retainer is an appliance that is designed to keep your teeth in place long enough for the bone around them to harden.

Protecting your smile while playing sports is essential. Mouthguards help protect your teeth and gums from injury. If you participate in any contact sports, it is recommended by the American Association of Orthodontists that you wear a mouthguard. Choosing the right mouthguard is very important, ask us to recommend one for you at your next appointment!
